Ex-LNWR 2P 4-4-2T Precursor Tank     No  6782 and ex-LNWR 2P 0-6-2T Watford-Tank No 6883

View of ex-LNWR 2P 4-4-2T Precursor Tank No 6782 and ex-LNWR 2P 0-6-2T Watford-Tank No 6883 seen in May 1937. Standing behind the Precursor Tank is an unidentified Black 5 and some other LNWR locomotives distinguishable by their distinctive Webb chimneys. Built at Crewe works in May 1892 No 6782 lasted in service for 46 years before being withdrawn from Monument Lane in June 1938. The Watford Tank No 6883 was built by Crewe works in October 1888 and lasted longer than No 6782 being withdrawn from Bletchley in May 1948 to be scrapped by Crewe works in June 1948.
