Close up of image 'lnwr1510' showing the extra sidings laid down to provide additional stabling facilities between the water softener and the shed. Two or three ex-LMS 4-6-0 Stanier 'Black Fives' can be seen in steam indicating they have been prepared for their next turn of duties. The water softener tank and associated buildings are behind the locomotive seen on the left. To the right of this stabling point was a builder's yard and beyond that, the Birmingham Canal. Behind the shed at a higher level was Sheepcote Road and Vincent Street which effectively restricted the shed's development throughout it's working life.
