LMS Route: Rugby to Leamington Spa (Avenue)

Another view of the station buildings on the down platform looking towards Rugby. The barrow crossing used by passengers and staff to access the up platform was also used to access the station as the station approach was also the same as the goods yard's.

The absence of photographs of the up platform would appear to be because it had only a small timber waiting room. It was however different to the normal run-of-the-mill structure as it was built over the Southam to Coventry road and therefore was built as part of the viaduct carrying the line over the road.
