LMS Route: Rugby to Leamington Spa (Avenue)

Looking towards the Rugby in the early 1950s with the station still in reasonable condition. The use of two-coach push-pulls in later years meant that only the portion of platform in front of the station building was used on a regular basis. This, towards the late 1950s, resulted in the rest of the platform becoming over grown as it was only used by the signalman and occasionally a member of staff.
