Looking towards Weedon with the passenger foot bridge in the distance. Both platforms were generously equipped with accommodation for passengers with waiting rooms, ladies waiting rooms buffet and parcel offices. The signs are still LNWR indicating this is an early 1950s view whilst the well laden porters trolleys show parcel traffic was still an important part of station life. The barrow crossing past the passenger foot bridge was used to move such loads from one platform to another.
