Ex-LNWR 2-4-2T No 6660 was a 5' 6" radial tank/Precursor Tank and is seen here sporting a '2D' Nuneaton shed plate as it runs light engine through station circa 1947. Within a few months this 57 year old veteran would be no more as this and other older classes were replaced by the Ivatt tanks. No 6660 was built in June 1893 at Crewe and was withdrawn from Nuneaton in September 1947.
