LMS 4-4-0 4P Compound No 1157 stands at the head of a stopping train to Coventry circa 1937. Number 1157 was built by the North British Company in September 1925 and having been renumbered by BR as 41157 was withdrawn in May 1960 from Derby shed. Despite the closeness of Derby works it was hauled to Doncaster to be scrapped in November 1960.
