Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48386 of 5E shed, slowly approaches the signalman as its fireman stoops low in order to exchange the train staff circa 1960. Built by Horwich works in February 1945 No 48386 remained in service until August 1967 when it was withdrawn from Rose Grove shed to be later scrapped by T W Ward Ltd of Killamarsh in January 1968.
