Ex-LNWR 4-4-0 'Precursor class No 25306 'Lang Meg' is seen on a local passenger train collecting the token to enter the single line to Coventry. Number 25306 was built at Crewe in March 1906 and was named on being outshopped with the LNWR running number 1287. Renumbered 5306 by the LMS in April 1928 it was allocated to the duplicate list by the addition of 20000 to its running number to make way for the Fowler 5XP Patriot class. It was withdrawn in February 1936 and scrapped at Crewe works. C1933
