London Midland Scottish Railway Route: Nuneaton to
Leamington
Kenilworth Station: lnwrk168
Ex-LNWR 0-8-0 7F 'G1' No 9349 is seen on a long mineral
train exiting the down (Coventry) line sidings. From the amount of steam being
exited it would appear the inside cylinders are leaking quite badly. Number
9349 was built at Crewe in February 1918 and although given the BR number 49349
she never wore it in service, being withdrawn from Walsall shed in December
1948 and scrapped at Crewe shortly afterwards. 28th Aug 1936
