Looking towards Coventry from Whitemoor Road bridge, ex-LNWR 4-4-0 Precursor No 25300 'Hydra' passes Cherry Orchard Brickworks on a local passenger service. No 25300 'Hydra' was a common sight in the area being a regular on Leamington to Nuneaton services.

Number 25300 'Hydra' was built at Crewe in August 1905 and numbered by the LNWR No 1617 before being numbered by the LMS in January 1928 as 5300. It was numbered 25300 (reserve list) to make way for the Patriots and later the Jubilees, before being withdrawn from service in July 1940 from Crewe. C1938
