Ex-LNWR 2-4-2T No 6749 is seen running bunker first with a
four-coach passenger train. The train has what appears to be a van coupled to
the last coach, the configuration brought into being after 1885. C1938
The two tracks on the left allow for shunting of the yard
and as a relief siding for down traffic. Number 6749 was built at Crewe in May
1897 and remained in the intermediate area until it was withdrawn from
Milverton shed in February 1952 being scrapped shortly afterwards.
