This close up of image 'lnwrk150' shows the down (Coventry) platform filled with passengers apparently waiting for the train to come to rest. The architecture was particularly splendid with the Gothic window features. The bow window with the boards underneath resting on the platform would have allowed the station's staff to look down the platform whilst remaining in their office.
