LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Harborne
Hagley Road: lnwrhr65a
This close up of image 'lnwrhr65' was included because
despite its poor quality it is one of the few photographs that helps to
illustrate the layout of the station post World War One. The initial station
structure seen in image 'lnwrhr66' is the building with the short canopy
projecting. The nearer timber clad building appears to be a later LNWR or early
LMS structure with two windows and two doors leading off the platform. These
are likely to be passenger facilities yet they would have been installed at a
time when the number of passengers was declining.
