Close up of image 'lnwrhia700' showing the up platform building showing how the building was recessed into the bank and that this end was constructed in timber. This was typical of the standard LNWR design however other photographic evidence shows that other than the gentlemen's toilet the remaining sections of the buildings on both platforms were constructed on a brick base on which the window frames rested - see image 'lnwrhia701a'. In the distance opposite the signal box can be seen the points that connected the line with the MR station.
