View of Gravelly Hill station looking towards Sutton Coldfield from Hillaries Road bridge on 25th April 1955. The platforms have been extended since the earlier views yet the lack of white paint marking much of the platform edging and the grass overgrowing most of the platform surface would indicate that the longer length was only required for a very short time. The footbridge appears to be the same as that seen in earlier views. However whilst the lampposts are still gas lit they are of a different design to the lamppost seen in image 'lnwrgh58c'.
