Ex-LMS Fairburn 2-6-4T No 42262 passes Four Oaks' signal box at the head of a local passenger train. As Four Oaks was the terminus for Birmingham commuter trains the station required storage sidings, on which some carriages can just be seen between the signal box and locomotive.
