Foleshill Station: lnwrf133
Ex-L & Y 0-4-0 'Pug' class '0'F No 51204 is seen working
the Dunlop sidings which lay near the station. It was also seen on the nearby
Foleshill Railway. C1958
When first built in December 1891 at Horwich works it was
the fourth of the 1153 class built bearing the L & Y running number 1156.
The LMS renumbered it 11204 before the BR addition of 40000 to LMS locomotive
running numbers resulted in bearing the number 51204. It lasted in service over
71 years being withdrawn at Agecroft shed in September 1962 and scrapped at
Horwich works in November 1962.
