This close up of image 'lnwrf131' shows a W 0-4-0ST Bagnall
standing in the sidings with its crew having a 'breather'. The Saddle Tank was
one odf four used to shunt the coal wagons and marshal trains of empty wagons
ready to be moved back to the pits. Behind the passenger foot bridge are the
faint outlines of other Gas Holders.
The pointwork seen on the extreme right of this photo was
from the trailing crossing for trains heading in the direction of Coventry.
There was no pointwork at this location for Coventry to Nuneaton trains as the
track crossed directly over to the sidings.
