This view whilst poor in quality provides a view from the
opposite perspective to that seen in image 'lnwrcs1278' albeit an oblique view. Richard Foster in the second
book on his series on Birmingham New Street station records, "This view was
taken in the summer of 1912 from the roof of the mains goods shed, looking
towards No 1 signal cabin. On the left a loaded wagon, with an LNWR sheet,
stands on one of the turntables.
