This photograph taken on the 10th April 1953 shows the canopy without the glazing but still in more or less the same condition as the 1916 photograph. The signs remain as before e.g. the IN and OUT signs hung under the canopy, whilst on the front facing Eaton Road is the sign asking drivers to "DRIVE SLOWLY" which is clearer than the last photograph, perhaps because it addresses motor vehicle drivers instead of mainly horse drawn.
