Ex-LNWR 4P 4-6-2T No 6980 stands on shed fully coaled on 12th May 1934 with Quinton Road running behind the boarded fence. Number 6980 was built at Crewe works in April 1911 and initially carried the LNWR running number 1728 before it was withdrawn in March 1938 to be scrapped shortly afterwards.
