Ex-LMS 2-6-4T No 42669 seen in a different pose standing in
front of what appears to be ex-LMS 0-4-4T No 41902 with its chimney removed
from the smokebox. Dick Blenkinsop, the Leamington Photographer who had a few
books published in the 1970s and 80s, is thought to have purchased it. He used
to recount a story that when he bought it for the princely sum of £5, he
wasn't allowed to take it in his car, it had t go to Crewe and be delivered via
Leamington.
