Ex-LMS Fowler 2-6-2T No 40032 on shed bearing the legend "British Railways" on its tank sides, which preceded British Railways' first corporate logo the 'Ferret and Dartboard' or 'Unicycling Lion'. Reg Kimber writes "No 32 was never shedded locally as I recall, the ones I remember were 2,3,9 and 44." Number 40032 was a class 3P locomotive built by the LMS at Derby in December 1931 and ran in service a little under 30 years before being withdrawn from Kentish Town shed in July 1961 to be scrapped later that year.
