In this close up of image "lnwrcov653" the unidentified 8F can be seen being coaled by a mobile conveyor belt. This would be positioned so that the coal from a wagon would be pushed out into the hopper and then the belt would take it up and in to the tender or bunker. This was obviously a far easier method than having to coal by hand from wagon to tender or bunker as would have been the case a few years earlier.
