Ex-LMS 2-6-2T Ivatt No 41236 with an unidentified 4F outside the original shed.

There was an art in bunking Coventry shed (2F). Enter between rows 3 and 4, ask for permission to go round the shed at the foreman's office at the rear, if refused depart via rows 1 and 2 and you've seen the lot apart from anything at the coaling stage or turntable. Permission was usually given though.

Incidentally I often wondered if Coventry was unique in having locos whose power classification was the same as the shed code (2F 0-6-0's and 2F shed code).
