Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Stanier Jubilee class No 45599 is seen again in store having this time been moved and with its chimney covered to prevent water from getting in to the smokebox. The reason for this action was because whilst the locomotive might be withdrawn it did not mean it would not be re-employed in case of emergency or high traffic loadings. Ingress of water would lead to a build up entering the cylinders etc and consequently causing damage. C1964
