This view is looking towards Rugby from the parcel bay tracks with Coventry No 2 Signal Box immediately on the right. The water column was strategically placed so that it served the through up as well as the parcel bay shunt. Where the white concrete coal bunker is located between tracks was the site of the stable of the shunting horse.
