Another view of the parcels bay. The showing the stone
portion of the parcel platform. Conjecture, based on the 1860 and 1880
photographs, would support the concept that this might also be part of an early
L & B station. If not the original station, then perhaps the second, which
was apparently built adjacent to the 1838 structure within a couple of years of
the line opening. This second station was subsequently made redundant because
of the inadequate facilities that prevailed at Coventry until the building of
the 1960 structure. 11th Nov 1954
