Another view of the parcels platform showing in the centre the now filled in recess of the former wagon turntable on 11th November 1954. See image 'lnwrcov1282d' which also shows that the stone wall finished abruptly at the London end of the structure. Examination of the above photograph shows that the last ten foot or so of the stone platform appears to be built at a different date. There is a distinct vertical join and the stone section on the left is not flush faced as is the section on the right.
