Platform 1 looking to the Birmingham end of the "concourse". The roof light provided much needed light and were placed at regular intervals the length of the "concourse" which extended past the parcel bridge just short of Stoney Road bridge. Compare this photograph to an almost identical one image "lnwr602" taken a year later. 10th April 1953
