This close up of image "lnwr589" shows the clocks and fingerboards used by the railway to advise passengers of train arrival and departure times. One clock showed the time of its expected arrival and the other the time of the departure. The fingerboard pointed to the platform and on both sides was written the destination and intermediate stations for each service.
