Ex-LNWR 4-4-2T 2P Precursor tank No 6794 is seen standing at platform one with an ex-Midland Railway clerestory coach behind the bunker on a local passenger train. Built at Crewe works in May 1906 to a George Whale design it remained in service until December 1937 when it was withdrawn from service to be scrapped at Crewe works early in the New Year.
