Ex-LNWR 0-6-2T Watford Tank No 6883 is seen at the head of a down local passenger service standing at platform two in the 1930s. The man wearing the bowler hat is probably the shed supervisor whilst the man on the running plate appears to young to be the driver and is probably the fireman. Built at Crewe works in October 1888 it remained in service for nearly sixty years being withdrawn in May 1948 from Bletchley shed for scrapping during June 1948 at Crewe works.
