British Railways built 2MT 2-6-2T No 41226 arrives at Platform 1 on a five-coach up local Nuneaton to Leamington passenger service. Built to an ex-LMS design by Ivatt, No 41226 was built at Crewe works in October 1948 ten months after the LMS ceased and was replaced by British Railways. Push-Pull fitted, as it evident by the extra items seen either side of the smokebox, it remained in service until September 1964 when it was withdrawn from Bangor shed and stored there until December was scrapped in November 1965 by Bird's of Morriston near Swansea.
