LMS Route: Rugby to Leamington Spa (Avenue)

An early 1950s view looking towards Rugby. The goods yard remains in place but is uncertain as to whether it was still in use despite the presence of a wagon standing on the head shunt. The signal opposite the box has been changed from a lower to upper quadrant type. The presence of the porters barrow indicates that passengers do still use the service although not in the numbers to warrant the service to remain open.
