LMS Route: Rugby to Leamington Spa (Avenue)

Looking towards Rugby with the up platform on the left and goods yard in the distance. The down timber framed and clad waiting room was raised off the ground as can be seen. It is unknown whether the station was built with a passing loop to form two platforms. It is thought this was unlikely given the amount of traffic in the years before the line was doubled and also bearing in mind the waiting room was of a late 19th century design.
