Ex-LNWR 3P 4-4-0 George V No 1504 'Boarhound' class is seen in May 1927 near Berkswell at the head of an up express still in LNWR livery and prior to be renumbered No 5432 in February 1928 by the LMS. Built at Crewe works in April 1911 by Bowen-Cooke, it remained in service until November 1935 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped by Crewe works.
