View from the corner of Broomfield Road looking towards Coventry as a tram bound for Earlsdon passes under the railway bridge. As is evident in this view the girder seen in image 'lnwr1553' was load bearing and has had an additional girder riveted to the top providing additional strength. The handrail on the far abutment seen in image 'lnwrar3b' has been removed replaced by 'spear' fencing which was a common site in the early twentieth century. However on this abutment both the handrail and spear fencing can be seen.
