Ex-LNWR 4-6-0 large boiler Claughton No 5975 'Talisman'
poses by the coal stacks. Built in April 1920 with the LNWR running number 12
it received its name in January 1923 coinciding with the birth of the LMS. It
received its LMS running number in four years later in January 1927. Whilst it
too received the modifications, including the larger boiler, the introduction
of the Patriot class resulted in it being withdrawn in June 1937 to be scrapped
