LNWR 2-4-0 Precedent class No 1672 'Talavera', built February 1890 scrapped circa 1933, is seen on an up Stafford to Rugby stopping train. Behind the locomotive 'perched' on the embankment, is the MR's down waiting room which is a basic timber framed affair on timber piles and clad in timber. C1922
