LMS 4-6-0 Rebuilt Patriot No 45531 'Sir Frederick Harrison'
with the Manxman passing at speed through the station. In theory No 45531 was
rebuilt twice in its career, originally a Claughton it was rebuilt as a Patriot
in April 1933 and then in to the form seen above in December 1947.
On first being rebuilt in 1933 it was un-named until 1937.
Following rebuilding in 1947 it continued in service until October 1965 when it
was withdrawn from Carlisle (Kingmoor) and finally scrapped in March 1966 at
G.H.Campbell, Airdrie. C1956
