LMS 4-6-0 Stanier Jubilee No 5742 'Connaught' is seen at speed on a six-coach passenger service. Number 5742 was built at Crewe in December 1936 and lasted in service until May 1965 when it was withdrawn from service from Carlisle (Kingmoor) shed being scrapped by the Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Co of Inshaw Works in August 1965.
