Three Spires Junction: lnwr_3spires1477

Ex-LNWR 0-8-0 G1 No 8892 is seen shunting at Three Spires Junction with the main Coventry to Nuneaton branch line seen behind the locomotive (passing under the far end of the bridge). Number 8892 was built at Crewe in December 1909 and just over 39 years in service being withdrawn from Coventry shed in January 1949. It was allocated the BR running number 48892 but was withdrawn before it was applied.
