Hunslet diesel-hydraulic 0-4-0, Works No 6982, 'Longbridge' stands outside the south shed, one of the complex's three sheds, catering for 'dirty' steam locomotives and this one for 'clean' diesel locomotives. The photograph was taken on a snowy winter's day in February 1972, just two years after No 6982 'Longbridge' was built.
