Cadbury Bournville 0-4-0T No 6 is seen shunting at Cadbury's exchange sidings on 5th June 1962. Built by the Avonside Engine Company of Bristol in 1921, No 6 was to remain in service until 1967 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped. The vans being shunted would all be fitted with with either automatic vacuum brakes or with through pipes enabling them to be run in the fastest express trains. The bridge seen above the vans was used to connect the sidings with the major part of Cadbury's railway system which was located on the opposite side of the main Bournville to New Street line.
