This close up of image 'gwrhg462' helps to show the station nearly sixty years after construction. Platform furniture has altered little although the once pristine platforms are now evidently tired after all this time. The white square held by a vertical inverted tee from the canopy was a later BR signalling device. Note the second signal on the down line between the two bridges.
