Andy Doherty's excellent "Rails around Birmingham and West Midlands" is a site truly recommended as it covers the region's modern day scene comprehensively with some reference to the pre 1968 scene. Andy provides an interactive map that provides the viewer with an excellent geographical layout of the stations across the region. In addition, he covers the Metro link as well as the preservation scene within the region.
