LMS Route: Stratford Midland Junction - The Shakespeare
Route
Stratford on Avon Station: smjsa153
View of the 1885 plan of the East & West Junction
Railway's Stratford on Avon station showing the line to Broom and the
connection to the GWR's Stratford upon Avon to Honeybourne line. The siding to
the goods shed also ran on to the Lucy & Nephew Corn Mill which was located
on the banks of the River Avon. The Engine Shed has a turntable situated
adjacent to the line to Broom, the approximate site of the third table to be
built at Stratford on Avon, whilst the shed itself accommodated just two
roads.
