A later view looking towards Stratford upon Avon through the road bridge and showing the huts used by the coal merchants circa 1933. The platform had, as an economy measure, been built using timber sleepers. Through the bridge is a small P&W hut and to its right the feint outline of a loading gauge is visible. Arthur Jordan record's in his book on the railway that the two lamps on the platform (only one can be seen in this photograph - to the left of the grounded coach) had the station name on the front glass, perhaps the only sign of extravagance at the station. The little station signage visible is LMS in origin whilst the station name board (technically described as a running-in board) has been repainted with light coloured letters on a dark background compared to the dark lettering on a light background seen in the earlier 1910 photograph. The posters on the old grounded coach body advertise the Isle of Man and the Midland Hotel, Morecambe, and under glass the date 1933 is visible.
