The full size photo has two items which puzzle the author, the first being the noticeboard on the right which has the lettering L & N W R at the top. Whilst it wasn't unusual for a 'foreign' railway to have its notice or poster board on another railway property, particularly if 'running rights' or connecting services were being offered such as to holiday destinations, its difficult to understand why a L&NWR board was on display at a very rural and lightly used station.
